Hope you had a great June and enjoyed the sunshine wherever you are!

June has been a busy month over here at Nativz (yes we're a little late with this edition), leading the month we announced our recently acquired Nativz Valorant First Team, our League of Legends First Team (schedule here) and Talent Team campaigns restarted in the Northern European League's (NLC) 2nd and 4th Divisions respectively. We closed the month by welcoming Laura Walsh, CEO of GamiFi, into the Nativz family as the first of many investors!

👉🏼 Fnatic launches programme to support UK esports qualification, a timely announcement from the big guns that compliments our Academy strategy to foster career development within esports.

👉🏼 Global Esports Federation announces 10-year agreement to boost UK esports, this agreement includes plans to build a research facility and host local tournaments. The GFE aims to turn the UK into a key player on the international esports stage. wonder if that will stretch to Ireland?

NATIVZ LEAD NEWS

🎮 We continue building, this time we are delighted to welcome Laura Walsh as our first Angel Investor. Laura is a highly respected leader and member of the Web3 community. Having joined LaunchpoolXYZ as COO in May 2021 she's gone on to establish GamiFi as part of the Alphabit ecosystem and is Corporate Liaison for the Launchpool Web3 Techstars programme. Laura's experience also extends across Near Protocol and NEM Group prior to that.

🎮 Our League of Legends Main Team are back in action with the commencement of the NLC Division 2 Summer Split, in which we currently lead the Summer Split with an 8-3 record. For the 2022 Championship, we sit in pole position with a projected 380 championship points, bringing the prospect of promotion closer each week.

🎮 Nativz also announced our first expansion into a new title of Valorant with a slick video & words of confidence from pillars of the community. Operating out of Ireland, they are competing in tournaments such as The Goose House Open & Leagues Beacon Qualifier across the rest of this year.

🎮 We began onboarding our Academy Scholars under the leadership of Sam Douglas-Bate, our Academy Director and Sammy Davies, our Social & Content Manager. We are now working with them to schedule development sessions, building into our longer term plans for the programme.

🎮 Our sister company BigFan recently completed their Techstars Accelerator programme, 13 weeks of intense focus on supporting the early growth of start-ups but in this instance Web3 focused businesses - take a look at the Demo Day pitch where you'll get a sense of the potential BigFan and the other 8 businesses have!
